FAQ

Do you offer video or phone sessions?
I offer both video and phone sessions.
Do you accept insurance?

I do accept many insurances. My office will verify if we take your insurance in the intake process to ensure your insurance covers you before we start. We will review any deductibles and copay so you know your financial responsibility.

Please note that insurance may not cover group sessions, trainings, programs, seminars, or workshops. Please feel free to contact your insurance for what is covered under your insurance.

What is the difference between therapy, coaching, and consulting?

Therapy manages and focuses on mental illness and diagnoses; the treatment can be short-term or long-term depending on need. Therapy focuses on mental processing and mental health. Coaching is more solution-focused and focuses on solutions and rebuilding. Consulting focuses on providing advice, suggestions, and information. Coaching and Consulting can focus on a wider range of area in your life (physical, environmental, emotional, mental, and spiritual). The skills taught in Coaching and Consulting are more wide and diverse.

My Coaching and Consulting services are unique because I incorporate my skills as a therapist and coach. I focus on supporting you to find the balance you need in all areas of your life. We will look at your blocks and obstacles, your strengths and weaknesss, as we create the person and life you want, putting you in control of your destiny.

Would I need to share in your program or group?

You are not required to share in the program. However, by design, the group discussion sessions provide live support from the Consultant, but you also hear from other people going through the journey like yourself.

You can share success stories or ideas to help each other overcome blocks and obstacles. This group support is essential and powerful to stay motivated and empowered.

How many sessions would I need in therapy to get better?

Unfortunately, I cannot answer that question as it depends on your situation, what you want to work on as goals, and how much work you will put into your healing.

We work toward the goal we set together for therapy, but the therapist has to go at your pace. The more focused and diligent you work on your goals, the faster we can achieve your goals.

Is there anyone you won’t see or who is not a good fit for your programs?

As much as I would like to help anyone and everyone, my style and specialty do not fit everyone.

The ideal client for my services is open-minded, determined to make a positive change, take control of their lives, who says “yes they can and will,” tired of blaming the world, feeling stuck, and willing to face their problem and start building.
